Inlay Thunderbird Ring Repair
Because the metal in this Native American thunderbird ring is so thin, one of the wings bend a bit while being worn and cracked the red coral and turquoise in the right wing.
I also noticed that it seemed like the left wing had been repaired at some point, and not very will with a lighter colored blue stone instead of a red material.
My client decided to replace the stones on both of the wing tips so I started by drilling out the lighter blue stones on the left side, and popping out the cracked stones on the right side.
From there, I crushed up matching coral and turquoise to pack into the recesses once they were all cleaned out from the old material and debris.
My client was thrilled with how her ring came out, and how quickly I was able to get it back to her too!
