The Process of Custom Inlay Jewelry

    We’ll start with many variations of line drawings for design options that you will be able to alter and adjust to your liking.

  • Faceted stone intarsia design ideas that are Photoshopped with pictures of stone beforehand so my custom clients can see what they're getting before I start working

    Finalize your Stone Color Palette

    We will collaborate to pull together groupings of stones you like—or I can always work with sentimental stones that you provide!

  • Shield-shaped intarsia cufflinks made with a faceting machine to get precise angles. They're made with petrified sponge, Magliano jasper, and petrified wood.

    Progress Pictures Along the Way

    As I work, I’ll keep you updated with progress shots along the way so you’re always kept in the loop with your special inlay piece.

  • Yes, I can use your materials in your custom project, and whatever isn’t used will be sent back to you.

    Do note: I can’t guarantee that your material will be workable as it may be too porous or have micro-fractures. You can send pictures of it below with your inquiry so I can inspect it beforehand.

  • It depends on the scale of the project, but custom inlay jewelry can take anywhere from 3-8 weeks as we work together on design and stone choices.

  • I cannot identically copy another jewelry artist's piece since that's their artistic voice, and I have my own, but I'd be happy to work with you to make something that has a similar feel.

  • This depends on the scope of the project, as well as metals and stones chosen. You can inquire more and get a quote by filling out the form below.
