Florida Agatized Coral Wedding Ring for a Beach Wedding

Using actual pictures of my Florida agatized coral, this ring design shows the patterns of the stones in the wedding ring design.

This is the Photoshop rendering of my client’s custom agatized coral wedding ring before I started work.

A client reached out to me after seeing some of my stone mosaics made out of Florida agatized coral, and wanted to have a dainty custom ring made to commemorate her and her fiancé’s first date hunting for agatized coral in a Florida river.

We started by looking through my collection of Florida agatized coral—which ranges in colors from red, orange, yellow, blue, gray and white. After creating a few different designs, my client fell in love with the above design which includes a mosaic centerpiece made out of three different pieces of coral.

Three pieces of Florida agatized coral set out before putting together for the wedding ring center stone.

I then got to work putting the stones together for an intarsia mosaic, and then slowly tweaked the size of the stone by modeling the stones on the 10k gold wedding band she wanted.

After I made the 10k gold bezels to fit these custom-cut stones, the stones were set and her perfect beach wedding ring was finished!

It’s absolutely beautiful and perfect. My wedding was seriously the most perfect, best and special day I could have asked for.
