Color-Backed Hyalite

Hyalite Opal Collection

Hyalite opal—often called “bubble opal”— is found in only one place in the world, in Milford, Utah. Clear to softly white, it carries a silver shimmer with occasional flashes of color within the stone. In these pieces, the opal is paired with different backings to draw out its internal structure, shifting how it holds light, color and depth.

With color behind the stone, the opal shifts—light passing through and reflecting back to create a more layered, vibrant surface.

Black-Backed Hyalite

Backed in black obsidian, the opal becomes more defined—its internal formations coming forward with greater contrast and clarity.
