This specific kind of hyalite opal—known as “bubble opal”—is only found in one place in the world in Milford, Utah. It’s a special type of Opal-A that has a white shimmer, sometimes with sprinkles of rainbow chatoyance seen throughout the stone.

Though the opal ranges from a clear quartz to white, I backed the opals with black obsidian to draw out the color and dimension of these incredible opals to enhance their beauty.
