Are all of these inlay pieces handmade?

Yes! Each piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind and handcrafted by me, Caitlin Albritton, using my original drawings and designs. Everything is made with my two hands, from the silversmithing to the stone cutting in each piece, with only the highest quality jewelry made for you to wear proudly and confidently.


What is your return policy?

I accept returns on regular priced jewelry within 7 days after receiving your package. You can email me at info@c-albritton.com or use the Contact Form to get in touch with me to start a return:

  • All items must be received in the original packaging in perfect, unworn condition that it came to you as. I won’t accept returns if it is not in its original condition.

  • Items must be postmarked within 5 days from the date of return initiation.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, and the customer will be responsible for return shipping. (If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service of purchasing insurance to ensure that your returned item will get back to me.)

  • Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to let you know it has been received.

I don’t offer returns on custom or sale pieces, but want you to be happy so please reach out and I’ll see what I can do for you.

I also don’t offer direct exchanges; you can purchase a new item once you’ve returned the previous order.

As with ordering anything online, I do all I can to display my jewelry and the stone colors as accurately as possible but actual colors may vary since every screen will display colors a little differently.


What is your complimentary cleaning service about?

I offer complimentary cleaning services for collective purchases:

  • $800-$1500 = 1 complimentary cleaning*

  • $1500-$2500 = 2 complimentary cleanings*

  • $2500+ = 3 complimentary cleanings*

    *Your complimentary cleaning includes: a soak in my ionic cleaner followed by a hand-finished touch-up to bring your pieces back to a full shine.

    *You can send multiple jewelry pieces per complimentary cleaning. Each package sent (whether it has 1 or 4 pieces) will count towards your complimentary cleanings.

    *For these complimentary cleanings, just provide the shipping cost to me and the return will be on the house. This is only for jewelry you have purchased from me, not for jewelry from other makers.


How do I package my works for a complimentary or paid inlay cleaning?

When you are ready to send your jewelry in for a complimentary cleaning, first contact me by emailing me at info@c-albritton.com or by using my Contact Form so I can give you my address for the return.

If you have the original box that your inlay came in or a different jewelry box, great! If you are sending multiple pieces of jewelry in one jewelry box, wrap each one individually in a paper towel then tape the ends down so that they don’t damage each other during transit.

If you don’t have a jewelry box, wrap the piece(s) in paper towel to prevent damage, then place in a plastic bag before wrapping with a small piece of bubble wrap.

The jewelry box/bubble-wrapped piece should then be placed in a slightly larger box. If there is room for the jewelry box/bubble-wrapped piece to move around, use more bubble wrap, tissue paper, or paper towel to fill those gaps so your jewelry doesn’t tumble around inside.

Once you’re ready to send it out, let me know the tracking number so I can keep an eye out for it! I will notify you of receipt of your package once I have it in my hands and will also keep you updated once it’s done cleaning and back on its way to you.


How does shipping work?

All orders are shipped through USPS First Class within 2-3 business days (unless you specify wanting a different shipping option). Lost or stolen mail will be the responsibility of the purchaser. I would be happy to add a signature delivery or quicker delivery services for any purchase at an additional cost, just let me know before you purchase using the Contact Form.

For purchases outside of the U.S., note that delivery services can take anywhere from a week to 3 months depending on where you live. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.


Do you do custom orders?

Yes! I will take on a few custom orders throughout the year on a first-come first-served basis. The piece doesn’t have to be figurative, but note that I won’t copy another artist’s signature style.

During a consultation, we will discuss the details of your budget and I’ll quote a ROUGH final cost estimate, as my pieces range in the cost of materials and the time it takes to complete it. I’ll send pictures of stones so we can decide on the perfect palette for you. If what I have on hand isn’t suitable, I can work on looking for something to your liking.

Custom orders will require a 50% non-refundable deposit before starting, and can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to complete. Use my Contact Form and let’s start collaborating today!


Do you accept payment plans other than Afterpay?

I can offer layaway on some items over $500, and this is done on a case-by-case basis. Free financing with a 20% down payment. Layaway down payments and additional payments are non-refundable and must be completed in a timely manner. Layaway items are final purchases and may not be exchanged.
