How to Make an Intarsia Cabochon

During some slower weeks in the studio, I’ve had the chance to work on a few more tutorials on how I make what I make.

I really love doing these for a few reasons:

  1. I love showing the process to my clients so they know the work that goes into my handmade stone jewelry, and because

  2. I’m a teacher at heart, so it’s fun to share knowledge about the craft of lapidary with other artists!

This one on intarsias is short and sweet, but don’t let the video fool you; they still take quite a bit of time to choose the perfect stones, glue together, and cut to shiny perfection.

I hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think in the YouTube comments!
